What your PC needs to run Trapsmith

Every Trapsmith app runs on your own Windows PC. Most of them run on almost any computer. The AI parts (making art, 3D models, speech-to-text, the writing brain) run on your graphics card when you have a good one, so a stronger card makes them much faster. Download only the apps you want: each one's size is below.

Minimum, recommended and best performance

Minimum means every app opens and works, with the AI parts running on the processor where they can (slower). Recommended is what Trapsmith is built and tested on. Best performance is for making lots of AI art and 3D models quickly.

The app is a small download. AI models download once, the first time you use that part, then everything works offline. Sizes are approximate: 1 GB = 1,000 MB.

Good to know

A few details

Graphics memory matters most for AI. Art and 3D use your card's own memory (VRAM), not the PC's RAM. 8 GB runs everything; 12–16 GB runs the bigger art model and is faster.

AMD and Intel graphics. Prompt Riff's brain runs on them. AI art, the Best 3D maker and the fast speech model need NVIDIA today; the rest of those apps still work.

Internet. Only to download an app or an AI model the first time, to post with Social Studio, and if you choose to use Claude online. Everything else works offline, and your files never leave your PC.

Disk space for your work. Pictures, videos and 3D models you make need room too. Keep some free space on a fast SSD and point Trapsmith's data folder at it.

No Mac or Linux yet. The apps are made for Windows. The 3D Game Engine's games run in any modern browser, on any system.

Still being tested. Every app is in testing and nothing is for sale or download yet. These numbers will be updated as the apps change.
